Jane Villegas

Jane Villegas, age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at home. She was born January, 31, 1958, in Tecumseh, to Byron (Barney) and Betty (Hasenzahl) Townsend. She was a 1976 Madison High School graduate. She married her love Valerio Villegas on December 24, 1992, in Blissfield, Ml. She worked at Delphi in Adrian, Ml for 27 plus years until she retired in 2008.  She loved caring for family members and their children along with furry family.  Jane truly loved life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, going to Lions football games and just being with her beloved husband and 2 dogs Brodi and Bailey. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.  She is survived by her husband, Valerio Villegas; 2 sisters, Deb (JR) Rumsey of Onsted, Kathy (Chuck) Clymer of Adrian, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins along with her 2 fur babies Brodi and Bailey.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Townsend; her father,  Byron Townsend; and sister, Pam Frederick.  Family, friends and others lives Jane touched are invited to J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, Ml 49221, on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM for visitation to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course just chat.  A small service will take place at 2:00 PM officiated by Lynn Brooks.
