It is with deep sadness that the family of James Theodis Sims announces his transition to life eternal. A resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Mr. Sims served the Flint Community School Board of Education from the beginning of his career in 1963 until he retired in 1992. While October 24, 2024 will be etched in our hearts as a day of great separation we are heartened by the immense love he shared that yet resonates so warmly. A memorial is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 12 noon. The public is invited to join us to celebrate his life and legacy at Renewed Faith Church, 3350 Pasadena Ave, Flint, Michigan, 48504.
