Jacqueline Delores Butterbaugh
November 28, 1936 - September 15, 2024
Jacqueline (Jackie) was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Herman Richard Horsley and Alice Laverne Skaggs on Nov 28, 1936. She was the oldest child of six children, and started out life being a caregiver and protector of her younger siblings. She was a loving woman who would, and did, give all she had for her children. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her kids. She enjoyed music and dancing throughout her life, her dogs, being on her computer and watching videos that made her laugh. Jackie was a tiny woman, but what she lacked in height she made up for in integrity, heart, and determination. She always said she had broad shoulders; and she did. Her children, and small group of friends, were "spacial" to her, "each in their own way". Most importantly, she had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and had placed her hope in him. Jackie is survived by her children, Sunny Chilafoe (Betsy) of IN., Sandra Wrenn (Joe) of AR., Susan Mathis of TX., Troy Mathews (Sue) of MI., Victoria Holbrook of MI., Billy Butterbaugh (Lisa) of MI. Her step children, Anthony Price (Faustina) of OH., Frank Butterbaugh (Kim) of MI., Paul Butterbaugh of TN. , Pamela Hobson (David) of FL., Ramona Genton of AL., Kimberly Tanner (Lloyd) MI., her siblings Barbara Haddix (Harold) of FL., Michael Horsley of IN. Twenty three grandchildren, fourty eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Franklin Butterbaugh, son Kevin Mathews, step daughter Pennelope MacDonald, grandson Joshua Tanner, great grandson Joseph Dylan Wrenn, father Herman Richard Horsley, mother Alice Laverne Skaggs, brothers Thomas Horsley (Barbara), William (Bill) Horsley, and sister Faye Horsley. Cremation has taken place, A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams, MI. at a future date- to be decided. It will be officiated by Pastor Dan Williams of Hillsdale Assembly of God.
