Jack Wayne Smith, Sr.

Jack Wayne Smith, Sr., age 80, of Hudson, MI, passed away, February 23, 2020.  He was born May 28, 1939, in Muncie, IN, the son of Henry & Marjorie (Felty) Smith. On February 2, 1963, he married Glenna (Grimm) Smith. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2009.  Jack is survived by two sons, James (Jennifer) Smith of Hudson and William (Laura) Smith of Fayette, OH, 12 grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Anjilla Hebert, Cayla (Kevin) Miller, Trisha Bryan, TJ Bryan, James Smith, Jr., Jacob (Erin) Smith, Alexis (Eli) Dickerson, Sadeze Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Cameron Smith and Aubrey Smith, great granchildren, Ella Miller, Tanner Miller, Jericho Miller, Mykenzie Johnston, Kaysen James Baughey, Gracelynn Smith, Jacqueline Jean Smith, Karter Michael Swirles, Amin and Alina, his siblings, Robert (Linda Schultz) Smith, Barbara Stewart, Betty Windle, Lorraine Mulberry, Linda and Donna and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife, Glenna Smith, he was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Marjorie Smith, daughter, Dawn Johnson, son, Jackie Wayne Smith, Jr., three brothers, Hank Smith, Dennis Smith and James Smith, one sister, Joanne Caskey.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 29, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson, MI.
