Jack George

Jack George, age 88, of Ruskin, FL, formerly of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, July 31, 2025, at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.  He was born July 27, 1937, in Inez, KY, the son of Otto & Alice (James) George.  Jack served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was retired from Ford Motor Company.  Jack is survived by his son, Gary R. George of Grand Rapids, MI; grandson, Brandon R. George; one sister, Claudia Schook; and several nieces and nephews.  Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Otto & Alice George; step-mother, Neva George; two brothers, Otto "Bob" George Jr. and Larry George; and one sister, Nancy George.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday August 11, 2025, at Purse Funeral Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrtian, MI, with Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, MI.  Viewing & Visitation will also be on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian, MI.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
