Jabez (Jay) Howard

Jabez (Jay) Howard, age 52, of Onsted, passed away on May 25, 2021. Jay was born October 24, 1968 in Adrian, Michigan the son of Alfred and Renee (Archer) Howard. He was a 1987 graduate of Onsted High School and went on to receive his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Eastern Michigan University. Jay was a Process Coach working for Ford Motor Company. Jay enjoyed spending a good deal of time outside riding motorcycles, snowmobiling and gardening, attending Tiger’s games with his children, boating on the water, traveling, kayaking, and tubing. He loved spending time with his children and was looking forward to walking his daughter down the aisle. Jay is survived by his children, Austin Howard, Gage Howard, and Jordan Howard (Josh Arbini); brothers, Tyler Howard, Ray (Meghan) Howard and sister, Jennifer (Adam) Dilbeck; the mother of his children, Amy Brenner; his girlfriend, Andrea Burleigh and his fur baby, Molly Renee. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse, Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 1-3 pm, with a small service following. Memorials may be made to Gift of Life
