"Hucklebuck" James Anthony Spears, age 69, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 23, 2019 at home under Hospice of Lenawee. He was born July 30, 2019, in Detroit, MI.  He is survived by his sister Shirley WhiteEagle and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Evelyn Spears, two brothers and eight sisters.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM to the the time of service at the J.
