Herman Lee Dillard

Herman Lee (Butch, Big Daddy) Dillard age  55, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 10, 2021 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born on July 12, 1965 to Doristene Dillard Leroy Boston. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Young and Melinda Weeks. He worked for several years for Sodexo Food Services at Adrian College.  Left behind to cherish his memory is the love of his life and best friend of sixteen years, Vicki Losey.  He is also mourned by; his mother, Doris Carter; father, Leroy Boston; special uncle, Willie George; two sisters, Petula and Sonia; three brothers, Walter, Matt and Quint; a special mother-in-law, Diane; two sisters-in-law, Tammy and Lisa; two brothers-in-law, Steven and Jay; three uncles, Willie George, L.C. Boston, and Jimmy L. Boston; two great aunts, Cora Redeemer, and Gola Buie; five step children, Josh, Jamel, Javon, D.J., and Davonte; four special grandchildren, Maddie, Micah, Nala, and Vello; a special great uncle, Algie Crivens; special cousins, Lulu, Archie, Richard, and Algie; five nieces; three nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, good friends and co-workers. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Chris Carter officiating. (WATCH LIVE LINK) Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
