Harold Allen Conley

Harold  Allen  Conley, age 63, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 11, 2020.  He was born January 16, 1956, in Detroit, MI, the son of Harold Edgar & Mary V. (McIlrath) Conley.  During his lifetime, Harold worked various jobs including, Detroit Metro Airport loading planes, in the kitchen at Cracker Barrel in Belleville and most recently at Goodwill Industries in Adrian. Harold was well liked by all those he encountered. He would always inquire about the well being of those he came across. He let little to no grass grow beneath his feet. Harold considered himself a valued member of the "Adrian Volunteer Sanitation Department."  He is survived by his brother, Michael Conley and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Mary Conley, one brother, Mark Conley, one sister, Margaret Conley and his grandparents, William & Agnes McIlrath and George & Velda Conley.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Doug Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, MI.
