Guadalupe Z. Contreras

Guadalupe  Z.  Contreras, age 82, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 7, 2026, at Hickman Promedica Hospital.  She was born December 21, 1943, in Wauseon, OH, the daughter of Carlos & Ramona (Zapata) Fonseca.  She married Isaias Contreras, he preceded her in death on April 17, 2009.  She is survived by her children, Bonny Fonseca, Arthur Fonseca, Olivia Contreras; and Jose (Melinda) Contreras; her grandchildren, Jennifer Milanovich, Krystal Larsen, Aretha Fonseca, Matthew Fonseca, Daniel Fonseca, Ashley Contreras, Rodney Contreras, Angelica Contreras, Alexis Contreras, Isaias (Jazmin) Contreras, Emilio (Mariah) Contreras, Bianca Contreras, Jordan Contreras, Jason (Randie) Contreras, Jon Contreras, Juan Contreras, Alejandro Contreras and Ronald Contreras; numerous great grandchildren; three sisters, Delores Hernandez, Dora Mota and Connie Fonseca; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Isaias, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Hernandez and Juan Contreras; one daughter, Elizabeth Contreras; five brothers, Gilbert Fonseca, Joe Fonseca, Domingo Fonseca, Carlos Fonseca and  Johnny Fonseca; two sisters, Olivia Hernandez and Janie Hurtado; and two grandsons, Ricky Contreras and Joe R. Contreras.  Funeral Services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
