Gloria V. Carrizales

Gloria V. Carrizales, age 67, of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away February 14, 2022 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on July 11, 1954 in St. John’s, Michigan to Luis and Ernestina Carrizales. Gloria worked in many fields but home health care was her true passion. Gloria enjoyed antiquing, doing puzzles, arts and crafts, and quality time with her pets. Her biggest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren, having sleepovers and teaching them how to cook and bake. Gloria is survived by her two daughters Jennifer Carpenter of Hillsdale, Michigan and Danielle Sherman of Homer, Michigan; her four sisters Josie Grubbs, Eva(Randy) Bernath, Michelle(Tracy) Franks, Victoria(Scott) Sanders;  one brother Roberto(Penny) Carrizales; four grandchildren, Maria Ernestina, Leona July, Romy Alexis, Daniel Tomas; as well as dozens of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Consuelo and Ernestina (Tina), one brother Luis, nieces and a nephew. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, information to be posted in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
