Glenadine Louise (Purdy) Southwell

Glenadine Louise Southwell age 96, of Tecumseh passed away April 3, 2022. Glenadine was born on July 20, 1925 the daughter of Glen and Louise (Fuller) Purdy. On Dec 24, 1945 she married Russell Southwell, and he preceded her in death July 15, 2013. Glenadine was a homemaker while married to Russell, and she stayed home taking care of their four children, and later her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, coloring and word find. She is survived by her children, Kathryn Fitch, Janet Kibert, David (Cathy) Southwell and Jeffery (Selena) Southwell; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Louise Purdy, and sister, Marjorie (Robert) Downs.  Funeral services will be  11:00 A. M. Thursday, April 14, 2022  at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Richard Mortimer officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.  Visitation will be  4:00 - 7:00 P. M.   Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the funeral home.
