Gheorghe Tigu

Gheorghe Tigu, age 80, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 22, 2020 He was born March 24, 1939, in Felnac, Romania, the son of Andrei & Persida (Iosif) Tigu.  He is survived by his wife, Ana Tigu; ten children, Marcel, Radiana, Monica, Gabriel, Mihaela, Otniel, Steve, Lavinia, Ariela and Laura, twenty grandchildren, Steven, Alex, Mark, Cristina, David, Christopher, Sarah, Daniel, Matthew, Alyssa, Isiah, Adarah, Jonathan, Noah, Nathan, Olivia, Michael Luke, Rebecca, Laila, Hannah; three step grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua and Francessco; three great grandchildren, Adeline, Naomi and Abel; one brother, Andrei Tigu, one sister, Saveta Heredea and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Andrei Tigu, one grandson, Joshua Tigu, one brother, Isiah Tigu and two sisters, Livia Bucur and Persida Biris.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, January 26, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Raisin Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J.
