George Harvey Hoag

George Harvey Hoag, age 84, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 8, 2025, at Lynwood Manor.  George was born December 24, 1941, in Adrian, MI, the son of Lawrence & Kathryn (Poley) Hoag. He was a graduate of Adrian High School, Class of 1959. George worked as a factory worker for Bohn Aluminum for 20 years. He enjoyed cars and working in the yard as well as swimming.  George is survived by his wife, Sandra Hoag of Adrian; two daughters, Debra (Russell) McMordie and Rebecca (Kevin) Brookett; one brother, Steve; his grandchildren, Brooke, Brittany, Courtney, Lindsey, Heather, Josh and Jeremiah; and seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Katherine Hoag; one brother, Lawrence Hoag Jr. and one sister Janet Raymond.  Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 14, 2025, at Springville United Methodist Church, 10341 Springville Hwy, Onsted, MI, with Rev. Michelle McCalla officiating.  Visitation will also be on Monday at Springville United Methodist from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
