Geneva May (Goodwin) Niles

Geneva May Niles, age 89, of Adrian, MI, passed away on July 6, 2021, at home with her family.  She was born November 8, 1931, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Clinton & Goldie (Glisson) Goodwin.  On June 11, 1950, she married Ralph Niles in Adrian, MI.  He preceded her in death on August 16, 2001. Geneva volunteered and was active with the American Cancer Society. Geneva is survived by three children; Garold (Rhonda) Niles of Blissfield, Nancy Crawford of Adrian and Barbara (Chuck) Bachmeier of Pinckney, ten grandchildren; Todd (Amy) Niles, Troy Niles, Christopher (Jackie) Niles,  Rachel (Chad Wilson) Niles, Courtney Niles, Zachary Crawford, Bridget (Mike) Warfield,  Joey Bachmeier, Max (Genevieve) Bachmeier and Noah Bachmeier,  15  great grandchildren; and; 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ralph; she was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Linda Niles, two sisters, Elsie Loachridge and Donna Goodwin; one brother, Harold Goodwin; two grandsons, Cory Niles and Charles Bachmeier; two granddaughters, Geneva Bachmeier and Megan Bachmeier; and great granddaughter, Mady Niles. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Randy Weaks officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI.  Viewing & Visitation will also be on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee
