Gary (74) passed away peacefully on Thursday 6/24/21, just days prior to his 75th Birthday at St. Joe's Hospital surrounded by his daughters' Patti (Kraus) Gordillo, Terrie (Kraus) Carlson, grandsons' Dominic Scalise, and Gavin Payton, and grand daughter Alyssa (Cody) Korum. Gary was originally from New Ulm, Minnesota before ultimately choosing to live in Belleville, Michigan..Worked 40 yrs at Ford Motor Company's Wayne Assembly Plant. Gary has (3) siblings...Sisters' Mary Beth Kraus, and Patricia (Kraus) Strandmark both of Minnesota and (1) brother Gregg Kraus. Gary had a great smile with huge dimples and a fantastic sense of humor..always had jokes! He gave the best advice, loved to travel, loved fixing cars, football, dogs, flirting with his staff at his assisted living facility and was obsessed with his grandchildren. Gary was an ex husband to (2) women that didn't deserve him, a friend, a son, a brother, a father, and a grandfather...Taken quickly and way too soon, we all miss him greatly!
