Fredric Yeager Obituary

Fredric Lee Yeager, age 79, passed away on May 2, 2020 due to medical complications from the Covid 19 Virus. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 8, 1940 and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by His Wife and Best Friend of 56 years Linda M. Yeager (née Parks). He was a Loving Father to Daniel (Sherry) Yeager, Julie (Larry) Kollar. A Proud Grandfather to Julian, Dylan, Max & Sydney Yeager and Stephanie Kollar. A Beloved Brother to John Yeager. A Favorite Uncle to Burton (Katie) Yeager & Anthony Yeager. He will be sadly missed by his many Brother-in laws, Sister-in laws, Cousins, Extended Family & Friends. He is Predeceased by his parents Carmen Yeager (née Gonzalez) and Burton John Yeager.Fredric attended Catholic Central High School in Detroit and graduated from Roosevelt High School, Wyandotte, Michigan in 1958. He attended Lawrence Technical University - School of Business in 1959. He graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Laude from Henry Ford Community College in 1993 with an associates degree in the paralegal field. He spent the majority of his career at Wayne County Neighborhood Legal Services as the Chief Court Mediator. He served as Court Administrator to the 36th District Court in Detroit. He also taught meditation training to many judges, administrators and paralegal students. Fredric was an avid baseball fan. His favorite team was The New York Yankees. He enjoyed coaching baseball in various cities and playing baseball for adult leagues and work leagues for many years. He greatly enjoyed watching his son and daughter, grandsons & granddaughters play various sports, dance in recitals & attend cheer leading competitions. He also enjoyed music and attended many concerts in his lifetime. He loved the outdoors and visited many state and national parks. He loved people and was a great storyteller. He liked to laugh and always made sure that everybody was having a good time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him. Please send cards and flowers to Linda Yeager 14558 Trenton Rd.
