Fidencio Linares, Jr., age 75, of Adrian, MI, passed away peacefully, March 1, 2020, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 27, 1944, in San Benito, TX, the son of Fidencio Sr. & Dolores (Velise) Linares. On October 15, 1964 he married Maria Tapia. Fidencio enjoyed drawing, playing outdoor games with the neighbors, and especially loved to spend time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Maria, 7 children; Michelle (Brent) Wilder, Fidencio III (Michelle) Linares, Patricia (Randy) Kopke, Thomas (Kim) Linares, Gerald Linares, Paul (Tammie) Linares and Carol Linares, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 sisters; Eva, Elena, Flora, Theresa and Lupe and 5 brothers; Peter, Manual, Danniel, Richard and Jessie. Fidencio was preceded in death by his parents and step parents. Fidencio will lie instate Friday, March 6, 2020, from 9:30 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus, 305 Division St., Adrian, MI, with Fr. Michael Newman presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus, 305 Division St., Adrian, MI. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
