Felipe Torres, Jr.

Felipe Torres Jr., departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022.  Felipe Jr, was born in Blissfield, MI, on June 8, 1942  to Estella Salas Torres and Felipe Torres Sr.  They moved to Adrian, MI while he was a young child.  Felipe Jr. spent the remainder of his days in a Nursing home in Adrian, Michigan.  Prior to this he lived with his mother where he took care of her until her demise. He enjoyed shopping at his favorite stores looking for a bargain and he found many. He also enjoyed going to yard sales with his mother. He was well liked by many of his friends and neighbors.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a smile and good conversation.  He will be dearly missed by them.  He was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Torres Sr; his mother  Estella Salas Torres; his brother Jesse Torres and sisters Rosa Torres and Melody Torres.  He leaves to cherish his memory; his brothers Joe Ramirez of Hudson, MI, Paul Torres, Pete Torres and Santiago Torres (Rosalee) of Adrian, MI. His brother Joe Torres of San Fernando, California.  He also leaves behind four  sisters; Mary Mota of Adrian, Margaret Hughes ((Phillip) of Toledo Ohio, Estella Wimberly of Long Beach, California and Virginia Casarez of Immokalee, Florida. He had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him tremendously. Due to covid restrictions this will be a one day service.  A viewing and services will be at J. Gilbert Funeral Home, 2951 Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221 on January 14, 2022. Viewing is from 11 AM until 12:30.  Funeral services will continue at 12:30, after the viewing.
