Eva Bowers

Eva Bowers, age 80, of Palmyra, MI, passed away, March 5, 2020, at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, OH. She was born January 23, 1940, in Palmyra Twp., MI, the daughter of Theodore & Lilah (Chandler) Gritzmaker. On September 19, 1959, she married Harvey Bowers, he preceded her in death.  Eva is survived by her children, Dan Bowers and Teresa Bowers-Ward, Angie (Frank) Deck and Tonia (James) Kurowicki; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Chris, Courtney; 3 great grandsons, her siblings, Roger (Sue) Gritzmaker, Christine Kidd; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Harvey Bowers, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert & Charles.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Nathan Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery.
