Eugene Cole

Eugene Cole age 82, of Tecumseh passed away peacefully July 16, 2022 at Hospice of Lenawee with his family by his side. Eugene was born December 9, 1939 the son of Kelly and Dolly Cole.

Eugene had a love for horses and enjoyed spending his spare time at the race track with his race horses, friends and family. He also enjoyed car rides with his grandson Adam.

Eugene is survived by his children, Michelle Harris, Cheryl (Morley) Hughes, Tracy (Mary) Cole and Julie (Gordon) Wolford; grandchildren, Joshua Double, Craig Ostrum, Adam (Brynne) Wolford, Brandy Cole, Aaron Ostrum, Tiffany (Shane) Voll  and Tyler Cole as well as 11 great grandchildren.  

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Kelly and Dolly Cole and his siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, 210 West Pottawatamie Street, Tecumseh. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Clinton. Visitations will also be held Thursday from 12:00 PM until time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Lenawee for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Lenawee would be appreciated.
