Esther Maxine (Rogers) Clark was born in March, 1933 in Osseo, MI and passed from this life on May 2nd at the Hospice House of Lenawee, in Adrian, MI. She was reunited in Heaven with her Savior, and her husband, Eugene who she married in May of 1952; her parents, Glen and Mildred Rogers; and her brother, Michael Rogers. Maxine was loved by her son, Roger (Laura) of Minneapolis, and daughters, Sandra Marklew and Sue (Donald) Jeffers of Adrian. She was extremely proud of her grandsons, Chris (Sue) and Eric (Amanda) Woods, and her granddaughter Joy Jeffers. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren JeniRae, Christopher, Lucy, Joshua (Carly), Nathan (Kaitlynn), and Sarah Woods; her sister, Jana Rogers of Mexico; and her sister-in-law, Donna Rogers of Florida. She was also loved and admired by cousins, nieces and nephews, many friends at her church, and many others in all walks of life. Maxine was a homebody and worked hard to keep her home comfortable and welcoming to others. She also had a green thumb and could coax life from any plant, especially flowers. She enjoyed watching birds and other wildlife. She appreciated the help she received in recent years from The Lenawee Dept. on Aging and Hospice of Lenawee, and memorial gifts are suggested to them or her church. Maxine has been cremated and a Service of Honor will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 12:30 pm at the Raisin Valley Friends Church, 3552 N. Adrian Hwy. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 11:00 am, and at a luncheon following the service. Pastor Douglas Chandler will preside.
