Eric Lee Keckler

Eric Lee Keckler, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 61 years of age surrounded by his family at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, MI. Eric had been battling many health issues over the last several years which forced him into early retirement from University Foreign Car where he had been employed for approximately 30 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frederick & Iva and John & Mary, his parents Fred & Sherry, his Stepfather Jerry, and his sister Jamie. He is survived by his children, daughters, Alisha (Jeff), Ashlee, and his son, Bryant, his sisters, Lucy (Bob) Jennifer, and Danielle and his brothers, Scott, Raymond, and Teddy, several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  Eric loved working on cars and racing them any chance he got, he enjoyed mud bogging, car shows and going out to dinner. He attended LCC where he studied Auto Mechanics.  Please join us on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 3:30 PM as we say farewell to Eric in his final resting place at Dimondale Cemetery, 5520 N. Canal Rd., Dimondale, MI 48821.  A Memorial Service will follow from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at VFW Post 6132, 3104 W. St. Joseph St., Lansing, MI 48917.
