Emmett R. Wilson

Emmett R. Wilson, age 71, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 26, 2022.  He was born June 28, 1950, in Anniston, AL, the son of Woodrow & Ada (Abernathy) Wilson. On July 18, 1969, he married Sylvia Regalado, she survives.  In addition to his wife, Sylvia Wilson, Emmett is survived by one daughter, Shana Wilson; three granddaughters, Emilee Blaker, Mikayla Jenkins, Jada Jenkins; one great grandson, Andy Carpenter; and two siblings, Ivey Smith and Ricky Wilson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Ada Wilson; one son, Shane Wilson; and two daughters; Lisa Wilson and Danielle Jenkins; one sister; and three brothers.  Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Roy Regalado officiating. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at J.
