Eloise Marie Myles

Eloise Marie Myles, age 94 of Onsted, MI, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, Michigan.  Eloise was born on July 3, 1931 to Niles and Goldie (McMillion) Ramsey on Flannigan Mountain in Winona, West Virginia.  On October 14, 1950, Eloise married William Myles, Jr. and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2017 after sharing 67 years together.  Eloise retired from Onsted Community Schools in 1992 after working in the cafeteria as a cook for many years and had lived in the village of Onsted on Maple Street for the last 62 years.  Eloise will always be remembered as a sweet kind hearted lady, the most loving and caring mother a child could ask for, and a life that was devoted to working hard which began as a small child living in the depression years.  Eloise is survived by her children Stan Myles of Onsted, Sharon (Bob) Gillow of Brooklyn, Brenda (Fred) Wilkins of Onsted and Don Myles of Onsted; and brother, Bernard Ramsey of Girard, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Pam Myles; sister, Hazel Hall; and her brothers, Eugene, James, Jack, Tom, John and Ronnie Ramsey.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shelly Wagner Sandy Steele, Todd Wilkins, Andrea  Bevan, Sarah Publiski, Lee Johnson, Melissa Vidricksen, and Billy Myles and great grandchildren, Chase, Kinsey and Trey, Wagner, Travis McCarty, Brady and Bryce Wilkins, Avery and Brynn Publiski, Cameron Bevan, and 4 great great grandchildren.  There will be a Graveside Service Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted, MI.  Burial will follow.  Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
