Elizabeth Mae Hayden age 58, of Suttons Bay, Michigan passed away on March 31, 2022. She was born October 27, 1963 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Mickey (Psolla) Hayden. Beth was a cherished wife, a beloved mother, a precious daughter and sister, and dearest friend. She lived self-sacrificially in all she did, always thinking of others and God before herself. In life and in death, she was steadfast in faith and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who sustained her through life and now rewards her in heaven. Beth along with her husband Dave, owned and operated Northern Dream Bead and Breakfast in Suttons Bay, Michigan. In her spare time she loved being with her grandchildren, collecting rocks, kayaking, paddle boarding, custom art creation and photography. Beth is survived by her beloved husband, David Degeneffe; children, Joel Eckert, Erin (Jacob) Ransom, Jared Eckert, Jared Degeneffe and Eric Degeneffe; her parents Lee and Mickey Spreeman; siblings, Edward (Teresa) Spreeman, David (Betsy) Spreeman , Carol (Mike) Anderson and Justin (Julie) Spreeman; 5 grandchildren (with number 6 on the way): Alexander Ransom, Benjamin Ransom, Amelia Degeneffe, Mason Degeneffe and Melanie Degeneffe. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Perry Hayden, and brother, Philip Mead Hayden. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Visitation will be also be on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
