Edward Jackson Obituary

Edward Junior Jackson, age 76, of Cement City, MI, passed away, January 21, 2021, at University of Michigan Hospital. He was born August 31, 1944, in Corbin, KY, the son of Edward & Viola (Collins) Jackson. On January 26, 1963, he married Patricia Boggess, she preceded him in death on December 27, 2010.  He is survived by his children, Sandra (Tom) McGarry, Dianna Glancy, Larry (Leslie) Jackson, Donna (Darrin) Pawson, Karen Ladd and Michael (Milissa) Jackson; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Dean) Gannon and Pauline (Clifford) Pierce; two brothers, Roy (Valerie) Jackson and Dill (Sue) Jackson and numerous nieces & nephews.  In addition to his wife Patricia Jackson, he was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Viola Jackson, one brother, Johnnie Jackson; one sister, Shirley Ladd; two son in laws, Peter Glancy and Patrick Ladd.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
