Edward J. Greaney Jr.

On Saturday, September 19, 2020, Edward J. Greaney Jr. passed away at age 90 in his home with his family by his side.  Edward was born August 14, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Edward and Priscilla Greaney. Edward married Joyce M. Jean on December 24, 1951 and she preceded him in death December 17, 2002.  Edward served  his country in the US Army.  He was a carpenter and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic  Church.  Edward is survived by three sons, Dennis, Joe and Tom;  two daughters, Lynn and Colleen; sister, Camille; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, James and a daughter, Cheryl.  A Mass of the Christian Burial will be 12:00 P. M. (noon) Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Rev. Father Daniel Wheeler as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon, preceding the service.   Memorial contributions  may be made to Elara Caring Hospice, 900 Cooper St., Jackson MI 49202.
