Eddie R. Hiatt passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 76. He was born January 9, 1950, in Detroit, MI, the son of Eddie and Delphine (Whitehead) Hiatt. Eddie graduated in 1968 from Adrian High School. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. Eddie worked and retired from Wacker Silicone. He also worked security and was a Court Officer. Eddie was an avid golfer. If he wasn't hitting the links with his buddies or son at Woodlawn Golf Course, he was keeping the bunkers in pristine condition. Besides golf, Eddie enjoyed keeping his lawn in immaculate condition and watching television with his grandson. Those who knew him loved him. He would be the first person to say or do something foolish, even if was embarrassing, just to make you smile. Little did he realize, those dimples and ridiculous laugh would make us all smile and laugh with him. He came, he saw, he conquered. He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years Jane Hiatt; his son Paul (Stacy) Hiatt; his daughter Nancy (Joe) Flores; his nine grandchildren Tyler, Kayla, Ally, Dakota, Chris, Joseph, Alex, Nick and Eric; his 14 great grandchildren; his three sisters JoAnne (Clyde) May, Peggy (Joe) Lamb and Kelly (John) Watson; and his dog Peaches. Per Eddie's wishes, no service will be held. Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
