Dotty L. (Dotson) Palmer

Dotty L. Palmer, age 78, of Britton, passed away suddenly October 3, 2019. She was born January 13, 1941 in Ivyton, KY, the daughter of Alfred and Cyna (Stanley) Dotson.  On November 7, 1959, she married Roger M. Palmer in Tecumseh, MI. He survives. Dotty was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, Class of 1958. She also was a graduate of Siena Heights University, earning a Bachelor of Arts.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist, Britton. Dotty was retired from TLC Credit Union, Adrian. In addition to her husband, Roger, Dotty is survived by two daughters, Pamela K. Kelly of Knoxville, TN and Susan (Steven) Gruber of Manitou Beach; three grandchildren, Joshua Watters, Nicklas Watters and Kylie Gruber; great granddaughter, Mia Watters; sister, Hilda Winzeler and two brothers, Randall Dotson and Russell Dotson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Delmas Dotson and sister, Rose Dotson. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday,  October 7, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Pastor Steve Palmer officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday October 6, 2019 at  J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to: Neighbors of Hope, 410 E.
