Doreen Kay (Schoeff) Starks

Doreen Kay (Schoeff) Starks, age 72, of Tecumseh, passed away October 29, 2021 after a short. but courageous battle with cancer.  Doreen was born February 8, 1949 in Ypsilanti, Michigan the daughter of Hubert and Wanda (Gearhart) Schoeff. Doreen was a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School. She retired from Ford Motor Company, Saline in 2003 after 30 years. Doreen loved her John Deere tractor and working outdoors,  She had a special knack for fixing and building things. She also had a love for animals, especially her German Shepherds. Doreen cherished spending time with her family. Doreen is survived by her daughter, Kristie (Chuck) Ratcliff; grandson, Ty Ratcliff; brothers, Darwin (Joanne) Schoeff and Gary (Rose) Schoeff and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Keith Schoeff.  Final resting place will be in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or the Lenawee Humane Society.
