It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and matriarch, Donna Lee McGuire (Hamilton).  As per Donna’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Donna resided in Adrian, Michigan. She was born on September 23, 1942, to Lavern and Irene Hamilton, and peacefully passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 83.  Though small in size, Donna possessed a strength, determination, and independence far greater than her stature ever suggested. She was a hardworking woman who never liked to sit still. If something needed to be done, she wasn’t one to wait for someone else—she rolled up her sleeves and got it done. She was always there to lend a helping hand, offering support to family, friends, and anyone in need. Her resilience, kindness, and unwavering determination left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.  Donna had a special place in her heart for animals, especially  horses,dogs and cats. We find comfort in imagining her reunited with those who went before her—her beloved daughter Sissy, her partner Joee, her parents Lavern and Irene Hamilton, her brothers Dick and Jimmy Hamilton, her sister Carol, and her faithful companions dogs Brandi, Pepper, Buddy, & her cat Gato, all waiting to welcome her home with open arms, gentle purrs, and wagging tails.  Donna leaves behind her loving daughters, Debra Sahely and Darlene Myers (Roland); her brother, Tim Hamilton (Sandy); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.  She was a proud grandmother to Alicia Browning (Kevin), Junior & Jaclyn Ruiz, Jessica Ruiz,  (Philip),  Melissa Savorelli (Dominic), and April Sahely (Sheldon). She was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, little Shawn, great- great granddaughter,  Lilly and another great-great-grandchild on the way. Donna was a loving aunt to Timmy Hamilton (Shannon), Jon Hamilton (Diane), Troy Rhinehart, Karen Froelich (Ed), and Craig Schwartz; a great-aunt to Myriah, Alissa, Jake, Lexi, Sarah, and Shanna; and a great-great-aunt to 10.  She will be missed by her cat companion  Lucky.  Donna’s greatest legacy is the family she built, the love she shared, and the example she set through her strength, independence, and willingness to help others. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is surrounded by those she loved once again, and her spirit will live on in each of us.  Rest peacefully, Donna/Mom.
