Dennis Clyde Kirkendall, Sr.

Dennis C. Kirkendall, Sr., age 74, of Adrian, MI, passed away May 21, 2023, at home. He was born March 20, 1949 in Adrian, the son of Frank and Marcella (Johnson) Kirkendall. On May 20, 1967, he married Barbara Craft, she preceded him in death on February 20, 2020.  Dennis was a High School Football Referee for over 25 years and coached the Adrian Moose Senior League Baseball team. He owned and operated K & K Enterprises. Dennis was a faithful employee at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home for over 25 years.  Dennis is survived by his four chidren, Ann (Greg) Adams of Clinton, Dennis Kirdendall Jr. of Adrian, Robert (Dione) Kirkendall of Hudson and Scott (Amanda) Kirkendall of Clinton; nine grandchildren; Jackie (Deja) McKenzie, Danielle (Nick) Hartung, Nate (Ally) Adams, Makalynn Adams, Katelyn Kirkendall, Gabriel Kirkendall, Bradley (Amanda) Kirkendall, Devin Kirkendall, and Denver Kirkendall; four great grandchildren; Chase, Hannah, Tucker and Holton; two brothers, Danny (Barbara) Kirkendall of Adrian and Frank Kirkendall of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife Barbara Kirkendall, he was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Marcella Kirkendall, his brother, Rolan Kirkendall; stepfather, Dale Mason; his sister, Diane Kirkendall; and grandson, Taylor Kirkendall.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 26, 2023, at J.
