Delonda "Lonnie" (McDonald) Procop

Delonda (Lonnie) Bernice Procop (formerly McDonald) passed on May18th, 2018. Born in Sandwich, Ontario on Oct. 21st, 1926. Proud Canadian who loved the USA. Lived in Taylor and Howell, MI. Preceded in death by mother Bernice Patterson and stepfather Thomas Patterson, brothers Duncan McDonald, Kenneth McDonald, sister Joyce Bellperche and nephew Robert Bellperche. Also preceded by loving faithful husband John (Jack) Procop and sons John Jason Procop and Ronald Procop, also granddaughter Melissa Nothnagel. Survived by son Dr. Gary Procop (Tamera) and daughter Deborah Nothnagel (Craig), many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lonnie was a feisty 91 yr. old. She was a great wife, mother and friend. She loved people and never met a stranger. She was known to get recipes from strangers in the checkout line. She loved the rain, cats, knitting, quilting, crocheting and sewing. She was a faithful church goer and taught her family about God. And so now, Lonnie is off to the greatest adventure of all. She will be greatly missed.  Memorial service will be held May 21st, 2018 at Crossroads Church of God - 3940 Pinckney Rd, Howell, MI 48843. Viewing at 10:00 am and the memorial service at 11:00 am, followed immediately by a luncheon at the church.  Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
