Debra Sue (Sanders) Allen Retan

Debra Sue (Sanders) Allen Retan, age 65, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 8, 2022, at home. She was born July 12, 1956, to Howard & Virginia (Griesinger) Sanders. She married Eugene Retan on July 12, 2007. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2016.  Debra loved having her family around. She was always talking about her grandchildren, they were her life. She was the best mother we could have asked for. She defiantly made her mark on this world. We will always love you mom!  Debra is survived by one brother, Randy Sanders of Willard, OH; her three children, Robert (Stacy) Allen of Adrian, Virginia (Robert) Landwehr of Blissfield; and Collene Allen of Adrian; twelve grandchildren, Emily (Aaron) Williams of Hudson, Ashlynn Duncan of Swanton, OH, Tylor Botelho of Conroe, TX, Robert Iaconi III of Pennsylvania, Michelle Iaconi of New Jersey, Samantha Iaconi of New Jersey, McKayla Allen of Tecumseh, Robert Landwehr Jr. of Blissfield, Andrew Allen of Tecumseh, Landis Landwehr of Blissfield, Addyson Allen of Adrian, and Autymn Allen of Adrian; four great grandchildren, Leslie Charles Duncan, Rowen Williams, Aurora Holley and Rory Williams; four step children, Renee, Rhonda, Randy and Rachelle; fifteen step grandchildren; twenty nine step great grandchildren, special sister in law, Connie Sanders; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; along with her doggie companions, Chubby, Cocoa and Scrappy. In addition to her husband Eugene, she was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Virginia Sanders; and three siblings, Doug Sanders, Jeff Sanders and Raymond Sanders.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 15, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. A Celebration & Bonfire will follow at Deb's home. Private burial will take place in Fairfield Cemetery.
