David Bruce Shadley

David Bruce Shadley, age 76, from Tecumseh, Michigan (originally from Manchester, Michigan). passed away August 19, 2021.  The son of Harry and Irene Shadley, he was born on October 9, 1944.  David married Rebecca (Schebor) on December 7, 1963 and they have two daughters, Michelle Shadley and Melinda (George) Truchan. David was a proud Ford Motor Company retiree of 36 years and a member of the UAW Local 892.  David and his family enjoyed playing many sports with his grandchildren, traveling and playing cards. David is survived by his wife, Rebecca Shadley, his two daughters Michelle Shadley of Tecumseh and Melinda (George) Truchan of Brooklyn, Michigan.  David is survived by his brothers Jerry (Carole) Shadley and Gary (Bonnie) Shadley.  In addition, he is survived by his sisters Barb Barker, Pat Carpenter, Diana (Kenneth) Kenyon, Linda Shook, Mitzi Schuler and Debbie Jacobs. David was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Irene Shadley, also his brother Richard (Fran) Shadley. David is also survived by his brother-in-laws Donald (Ann Pat) Wolf and David (Debbie) Wolf. In addition, David’s pride and joy were his grandchildren Johnathan (Jessica) Willoughby, Michael Shadley, Cassandra Eller, Chelsea (Jeff) Ulfig, Heather (Jared) Grandy, Racquel (Cole) Knaup.  David also enjoyed spending time playing with his great-grandchildren, Dominic Willoughby, Brianna Willoughby, Amelia Eller, Alexandra Eller and Harper Knaup. Pursuant to David’s request for cremation, the family will be planning a Celebration of Life Memorial in the near future.
