David Sarabia

David Sarabia, age 65, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 25, 2019, at University of Michigan Hospital. He was born May 30, 1954, in Adrian, MI, the son of Aristublo & Mary (Hernandez) Sarabia.  David was a loving caring man in the community. He loved his wife, three sons, daughter in law and granddaughters and grandson more than anything. He loved his music and playing the drums for The Lord. He was a huge sports fan. His favorite teams were the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Pistons and the Michigan Wolverines. David was a wise man and a father figure to many people. He had the biggest heart. He was the greatest storyteller, never leaving out a detail. David always loved to make people laugh. He never gave up until God called him home.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Sarabia, his children, David Sarabia, Jr., Joshua Sarabia and Jesus "Jesse" (Cristina Mora) Sarabia, three granddaughters, Faith Sarabia, Juliana Sarabia and Palomita Perez, one grandson, Jesse Sarabia, siblings, Jose (Ernestina) Sarabia, Ruben (Juanita) Sarabia, Rebecca (Manuel) Reyes, Elenore (Pete) Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Josephine Melchor, Hope Valdez, Mary DeLaRosa, Sarah Solorzano, Rosalinda Sarabia, Arturo Sarabia and Lupe Galnares.  Viewing & Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. The funeral service will start at 7:30 PM and will be officiated by Bishop Ramon Rosas. Cremation will follow.
