Cynthia A. Coffelt, age 65, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 10, 2019, at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home. She was born February 20, 1953, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Henry & Juanita (Nearhood) Coffelt. Cynthia retired from the University of Toledo where she worked as a cook. For the past two years she worked at Renaissance Care Home taking of their residents, which brought great joy to her life. She liked to read, gardening and watching murder mysteries. She loved her cat Jack Frost. Cynthia enjoyed taking care of her adopted granddaughters, Zoe Swords' kids She is survived by her granddaughter, Kylie Deer, three sisters, Norma (David) Woodbury of Florida, Kay (Jeff) Tuttle of Toledo, OH and Deb Coffelt of Erie, MI, one brother, Joe (Anita) Turk of Blissfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Nicole Deer and former husband, Ed Deer.
