Cory James Sackett

Cory James Sackett, age 32, of Adrian, MI, passed away, June 19, 2021, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born November 12, 1988, in Adrian, MI, the son of Mark Sackett & Dianne (Sackett) Burnett.  Cory attended Adrian High School and earned his GED. He was currently employed with Kirchhoff Automotive in Tecumseh, MI.  Cory is survived by his mother, Dianne (Dallas) Burnett; brother, Jason Sackett; grandmother, Donna Knight; his aunts & uncles, Brenda Knight, Merrill Sackett, Marty Sackett, Marianne Carmody, Max (Coral) Sackett and Michelle Gubbe; and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Sackett; grandparents, Clarence "Bud" Knight, Harold Sackett and Ruth Sackett; uncles, Michael Sackett and Monte Dale Sackett; and aunt, Marjean Sackett.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 25, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Bruce Jewett officiating. Burial will follow in Tipton Cemetery, Tipton, MI.
