Clifford Devere Sherwood Jr. age 72, of Adrian MI, passed away October 17, 2022 peacefully, surrounded by his children after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy and Parkinson's Disease. He was born May 7, 1950, in Syracuse NY, the son of Pearl Meyer & Clifford D. Sherwood Sr. He graduated from Syracuse Central Technical High School in the year of 1969. He served in the U.S. Army from August 28, 1969 to March 6, 1972 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He moved from Syracuse to Adrian in 1993 following his work with General Motors in which he retired in May 2002. He is survived by his children Tammy (Jim) Kirk, Dawn Powell, Marshall Sherwood, Cortney Carr, Rachel Sherwood, Derrick (Angelina) Disheaux, Ric (Sherry) Knisel, Nicole Knisel, 20 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren with a 3rd on the way, sisters Lorna (Ken) Pratt and Mary (Dan) Sawkins. He was preceded in death by his mother Pearl, father Clifford Sr., sister Loretta, brother Michael, first wife Roxanne, and second wife Victoria. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held in celebration of his life on November 5, 2022 from 1:00-4:00pm at AMVETS in Adrian MI. Cliff loved his Harley and college sports, please attend the memorial wearing casual attire, rocking your leather, or your favorite college team. In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate in his honor to the D.A.V. or Veterans charity of your choice.
