“Rod” Clayton Rodney Shessia  |  April 6th, 1950 - February 8th, 2022

“Rod” Clayton Rodney Shessia was born to the late Clayton and Gloria Shessia on April 6th, 1950.  He was immersed in his relationship with God and his love of music. Rod was blessed with a large and loving family. He married the love of his life, Ella J. Cook on June 25, 1971, they had 51 years together. Rod helped raise his 6 children with discipline and tremendous love. He worked hard and did everything to provide for and protect his family, including many children that he was blessed with from other families. He taught them how to show love, loyalty and respect among many other things.  Rod was a talented musician who played many instruments with the guitar being his favorite.  Rod was survived by his wife Ella; his children Tim, Luther, Ange, Rainy and Jody; sister Samantha; his many grandchildren; nephew and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Clayton, and his parents.  He will be dearly missed by all his loved ones, friends and family included.

Isaiah 40:31   But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
