Claudia Francis (Loar) Tracy

Claudia Francis (Loar) Tracy was born Aug 27, 1945, to Marion And Harriet (née Woodring) Loar. She attended Metamora School for 12 years. She continued her education at Adrian College and graduated with a degree in Music. She taught for a short time in the Adrian and Evergreen school systems as well as Head Start before her marriage to Robert G. Keefer in 1969. They had two children Robert and Damon Keefer. She then worked for AAA Travel and other agencies in Michigan for many years. In her spare time, she served as the choir director for the local Methodist church, tutored in piano, and performed in local pops orchestras. Claudia married Russell Tracy in 1983 and grew her family with two beloved stepdaughters, Ramsey and Amy Tracy. She resided in Britton Michigan until the death of her husband, Russ. She moved into her final home at Story Point Senior Living Saline, Michigan with her Yorkie, Rusty, where she made many friends and was deeply involved in the community, particularly in the music, activities planning, and religious services. She was proceeded in death by her husband Russ and father Marion. She is survived by her sons Robert (and his spouse, Áine) and Damon Keefer, stepdaughters Ramsey and Amy Tracy, mother Harriet, brothers Robert, Gary, and Ronald Loar, sisters Luanna Jackson and Melinda DeTroye, grandchildren Austin and Tristen Keefer and Kamron Tracy. She will be missed by many friends and coworkers. Pastor Tylor Kleeberger will officiate a Memorial Service which will be held Aug 25th at Koelsch Farm Homestead 2365 County Rd S Metamora Ohio, at 2:30 PM.
