ChunCha "Mea" Armstrong

ChunCha “Mea” Armstrong, age 82, of Tecumseh passed away on February 12, 2023, at home in the care of Hospice. She was born on December 3, 1940, in Manchuria China, the daughter of Hwa Soo and Soon Kyn Park. She was united in marriage at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul Korea to Dale D. Armstrong of Onsted on April 10, 1963. Dale and Mea renewed their vows on April 09, 1977, at Faith Baptist Church in Adrian. In retirement from Merillat's, she loved her friends and time in Florida, ballroom dancing and traveling the world on cruises. She also enjoyed finding deals at the mall, as well as garage sales and antiques. Mea will be remembered for kindness to everyone she met. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.  Mea is survived by her husband Dale of almost 60 years, her daughters, Suzanna (Scott) Day of Tecumseh, Kim (Jeff) Day of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Buffy (Tim) Day of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Kurtis (Amanda) Day, Stephanie Day, Charlie Day, and Shelby Day; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Braylin, Bryson, Brinley, and Braeden Day; her siblings, Choon Kang Kim, Mi Ja Choi, Hang Gil Park, Soon Hee Choi, Hang Duke Park; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Soon Duk; in-laws, Lee and John Armstrong, Susan and Merle Lowe.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Viewing & Visitation will be on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
