Cheryl D. Jarrett age 72 of Adrian passed away July 5, 2021 from complications of dementia at Lenawee Medical Care Facility under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born Dec. 11,1948 in Adrian to William and Arloa (Townsend) Speller. On may 31,1969 she married her high school sweetheart Richard Jarrett who survives. She was a graduate of Adrian High School Class of 1967. She worked for some time as manager of the Morning Fresh Bakery in Birdsall and later with her husband owned the Adrian Blueprint and Engineering Supply Co. Her true calling was realized when she became licensed as a daycare provider and opened the Little House Daycare which she ran for over 20 years. Throughout her younger years she attended Raisin Valley Friends Church and more recently became a member of the Reformed Baptist Church where she was baptized. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons,Richard Scott Jarrett (Kris) and William Chad Jarrett both of Denver, CO, her sister Carol (Jack) Steuwe of Somerset, MI, her brothers Michael Speller of Morenci, MI, and Chris (Sherri) Speller of Snohomish, WA, and her dog Matti. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers at Elara Caring, Lenawee Medical Care Facility and Hospice of Lenawee for their care and compassion at this difficult time.
