Charlotte Jean Wilson

Charlotte Jean Wilson, age 74, of Shalimar, FL, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away July 5, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1947, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Dale & Joanna (Prichard) Wilson.  Charlotte was a graduate of Adrian High School. She was retired from Metalloy in Hudson, MI. Charlotte loved line dancing, going to the campgrounds, play bingo and karaoke. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan, even visiting his birthplace in Tupelo, MS, and visiting Graceland in Memphis, TN. She resided in Hudson and Clayton throughout her adult life and moved to Florida for the past five years. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She is survived by her three daughters, Pamela Morse, Paula Smith and Christine McNamara; her grandchildren, Rachelle (LeVince) Buie, BreeAnn Wade, Jennifer (Justin) Pate, Brandon (Serina) Pawson, Eric McNamara, Richard (Ploy) Rodehaver, Anthony (Nikki) Rodehaver, Nicolas Hayes, Austin McNamara, Ashley Clark, Adam Clark, Brana (Sparky) Russell, Amy Clark, Kaylee Williams and Jenna Williams; numerous great grandchildren; her siblings, Ron (Libby) Wilson and Barb Prichard; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey McNamara, her parents, Dale & Joanna Wilson; and her grandparents.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Monday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
