Charles C. Froehlich

Charles C. Froehlich, age 83, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 6, 2023.  He was born March 21, 1940, in Hudson, MI, the son of Emery & Rosella (Basinger) Froehlich. On August 21, 1970, he married Judith Morse, in Jasper, MI, she survives.  Charles served his country in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. He worked the the U.S. Post Office for 45 years and also worked at Oliver Instrument in Adrian for over 20 years. Charles was an avid bowler and served on the board of Lenawee County Bowling Association for over 30 years. He bowled in the ABC Nationals for over 40 years. Charles a member of the Adrian Eagles serving as a trustee and Past President.  In addition to his wife, Judith Froelich, he is survived by his children, Bryan Robinson of Adrian, Cheri (George) Dowell of Bedford, OH, Todd (Alicia) Robinson of Fife Lake, Nicole Froehlich of Adrian; 18 grandchildren & great grandchildren; one sister, Linda (Tom) Belanger of Tecumseh; and sisters in law, Janice Sell and Joan Summers; brother in law, Phil (Beth) Morse and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery & Rosella Froehlich; one sister, Shirley Adams and brother in law, Wayne Adams of Hudson.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Military Honors will be performed by the Adrian American Legion & VFW Honor Guard. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
