Carlos Remington Sumner, age 41, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 11, 2022, at the Toledo Hospital. He was born February 22, 1981, in Adrian, MI, the son Paul Sumner and Ruth Ringle. Carlos loved to watch sports which included his favorite teams, Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. He was strong in his faith in God. Carlos loved reading and studying the Bible. He loved and uplifted everyone one he came in contact with by his positivity. He was loved dearly by all his family, friends and dog, Chico. Carlos is survived by his parents, Paul Sumner and Ruth Ringle; one sister, Becky (Mike) Jeffers; one brother, Michael Sumner; five nephews; two nieces; aunts and uncles, Anita (James) Vasquez, Julie (Jessie) Ramos, Leonard Sumner, Debbie Sumner, Gloria Elliott, Irene Young, Steve Sumner, Jeff Sumner, Tim Winkler, Tom Ringle, and Mark Ringle; and many cousins who loved him. He was preceded in death by grandparents. Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 North Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Friday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
