Calvin Raymond Pask (“Big C”), of Onsted, Michigan - Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, passed away just as the sun was rising on July 12, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, Michigan.  He would have been 82 years old on August 15, of this year, 2017.   Calvin has always been a very active member of the Catholic Church.  His beliefs were very strong and his most recent involvement was with St. Joseph Shrine in Irish Hills, Michigan.  The Priest officiating Calvin’s service will be Father Bob of that Parish.   Calvin is survived by wife Melinda of 15 years: Children - Alan, Linda Fowler (husband David), Jeffrey (wife Michelle), and Julie Wallace (husband Mike); Grandchildren - Ken, Chris, Robert (husband Neal), Nicholas, Daryl, Patrick, Courtney (“little C”), and Brandon; Great grandchildren – Jacob, Emma, Serenity, Armani, Jovani, MaciMae, and Logan.  Many loving family members have preceded Calvin’s assent to the Lord including his parents, Raymond and Madonna Pask, his first wife (of almost 38 years) and mother of his children, Billie Jane Pask (“Ms. Mac”), and his youngest son, Nelson Pask.   Services for Calvin will be held at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral home in Tecumseh, MI (210 Pottawatamie St.) on Monday July 17, 2017.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to be held at 1:00.  After the services, the burial will take place at the Riverside Cemetery in Clinton, MI.  There will be a luncheon back at the funeral home afterwards.   If you would like to make a donation, please make it to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.  They are working extremely hard toward finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.  The family would like to especially thank the staff at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson.  They were nothing but helpful, kind, caring, and accommodating to all family members, some who stayed around the clock once it was known that time was short.  Calvin went into Gods open arms while surrounded by loving family.  He was the rock of his family and has touched so many lives.  Never to be forgotten, always to be loved.
