Blanche Mary Barnett

Blanche Mary Barnett, age 74, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 17, 1948, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of James & Addie (Harris) Proffitt.  Blanche is survived by her three daughters, Paula (Craig) Shirley, Traci (David) Waltz and Michelle (Jeff) Francoeur; nine grandchildren, whom she loved very much Ryan Shirley, Kelsey Shirley, Cole Shirley, Natasha (Aaron) McGraw, Tyler Waltz, Keith (Shannon) Waltz, Miranda Waltz, Lauren Francoeur and Emily Francoeur; twelve great grandchildren, Eli, McKenzie, Gage, Greyson, Avyanna, Adalyne, Abrem, Oliver, Eden, Kyler, Miloh and Harlyne; her 6 brothers, Lee Roy Proffitt, Jerry Sr. (Kay) Proffitt, Harold (Cathy) Proffitt, Doyle (Barb) Proffitt, Gary Proffitt,and Rickey (Tracy) Proffitt;  1 sister Barbara Barnett, 1 sister in law  Brenda Proffitt and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Addie (Harris) Proffitt; three brothers, Clayton Proffitt, Thomas Proffitt and Donald Proffitt; and three sister in laws Bonnie Proffitt, Rhonda Proffitt and Linda Proffitt.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Viewing & Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
