Billy R. Lewis

Billy R. Lewis, 76 of Adrian, MI, formerly from Belleville, MI, was born on January 24, 1946 in Sun, WV. Bill passed away on Friday, May 6th, 2022 after a long illness. Bill was a retiree after 30 years of service at GM Adrian Plant and GM Willow Run Plant. Bill was also a Veteran of the Air Force and served four years of active duty. He was preceded by death by his parents, William Raymond Lewis and Nina Myrtle Ayers Lewis; brothers: William(Jack)Lewis and Alton Lee Lewis; sisters, Dreama Lewis, Louise Lattie, Sally Ellis, Phyllis Roop, Dorrie Vest and Joy Dobbs. Bill leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Kathleen Ruth, daughters, Donna J. Lewis, Julie A. Lewis and her partner Scott D. McBeath, grandson Devon Lewis all of Belleville MI. Sisters;, Joan Terry of Sun WV, Judith (Two-Doll)Sheehan of Oak Hill, WV and Carolyn Diane McKinney of Oak Hill, WV. Brothers;, Williard(Sonny)Lewis of Panama City, FL, Clinton Pannell Lewis of Pineville, WV, and Rabon Allen Lewis of Beckley, WV. Bill also has a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Bill was the ultimate hunter and enjoyed golf, bowling and baseball. Bill enjoyed a good party with good music and good friends and family. Bill leaves a host of dear friends, neighbors and co-workers. In keeping with Bill’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
